What would be a good community service job for Martha Stewart
Although, I think she stupidly committed a crime, I see no reason she should go to jail. Communitry service would be fine with me.

I think a few years working the food programs for homeless works for me.

1. That, or...
Nursing homes. She could bring a lot of warmth to the decor there.

I don't mean high-bucks nursing homes either. The nasty ones, where the poor folks go.

2. I use to be a Martha Basher but...
Did you know that she is a heavy contributor to the democratic party? It kind of makes me wonder why the federal government went after her first....

Look for yourselves

I am not implying at all that she isn't guilty, I am implying that after I saw her political donations, it made perfect sense why the feds went after her viciously.

6. Me too
I used to be a huge Martha detractor. I don't know why, but shortly after the verdict came out, I wondered what her political affiliations were. Just curious, I guess. I did a search and realized that yes, she made huge contribs to Dem candidates. Of course, this was a few months back when I finally started to get politically active. The :tinfoilhat: in me said "she's being set up because she's a Democrat." When I found out that * may have been involved in some insider trading in the 80's, that removed any doubt.

4. She could do interior decoration
for homes built by Habitat for Humanity.

I hear her interior paint is quite good and I can attest to the quality of her bed linens. She could show the folks who get these homes how to take care of their home, make fixes and remodel.

7. Teach junkies how to sterilize their needles
She'll probably start by crocheting little bleach cosies...

Mrs. Squeech is as democratic as they come, but she despises Martha with a white hot passion, and hopes they lock her up and throw away the key.

8. Women's Support Groups
I think Stewart should do as she suggested to the courts and help women develop small businesses. Martha really did highlight the fact that being a homemaker is a job and if done right, can be a very profitable job. There are a lot of women who for many reasons were unable to continue their education past high school but who still have the skills and talents to be in business for themselves if they only had the proper training knowledge to cover the basic 'How To's' of it all.

9. Clean my apartment.
After she's done with that, she should be released.
