Videogames such as Spiderman 2 (which is outstanding, by the way). It's the circle of life.

I got rid of my Xbox, but I had the first Spider-Man game for it and played the crap out of it.

7. Yeah.
That whole sequence in the hospital where the tentacles go apeshit was SO Evil Dead. I guess if you're going to rip something off, it may as well be your own defining work!

13. Were we to assume he was the same guy as in Spidey 1?
Lost his job as the announcer for New York Wrestling?

Then wouldn't Peter have recognized him, or did they never actually meet (there was a curtain separating the two of them)?

I never knew a fusion reactor could be doused safely via immersion in the waters of the East River.

26. I never knew...
...that geeky kids could stick to walls, mechanical arms could take over someone's mind and human hair could do what J. Jonah Jameson's does. Really, if you've got suspension-of-disbelief issues, seems to me that putting out a big fire in a big body of water ought to be the least of 'em for this movie. ;)

27. Even in death we have power.
If you mean, what if we are weak, or what if we have no influence, well, then, remember, those that have nothing to lose have the most to gain.

The weak shall inherit the earth.

28. We all have some power
Of course some people abdicate their power all the time. We have power in every choice we make. Some people choose to be powerless in letting others make their decisions for them. They choose not to claim their power because they don't want to be responsible. When you feel powerless in the grand scheme of things, think of the power that you do have and what decsions that you could make.
