I AM SO PISSED THAT CSI FIRED JORJA FOX
Jorja Fox is a great actress. Marg Helgenberger and Jorja Fox are a big part of the reason I watch CSI most weeks. Losing her, and the actor that played Nick, will break up the chemistry that made teh show work so well. I hope this is a negotiating tactic and they fix this mess.

The only night I actually try to watch prime time TV is Thursday on CBS. I don't want to become one of those people who don;t watch any television. I'm a child of the 80s for god sakes. Pop Culture is in my blood. Don't take away my last connection with network television.

There, now I feel better. I had to rant. I'll still watch CSI (because the writing is great and Marg Helgenberger is sexy as hell), but the show will be hurt with these two losses.
Anyway, Survivor is going strong, and thats all the pop culture I need.

But I've noticed lately that both cast members haven't been used as much in this past season as it is, and I know that Eric Szmanda is likely due for a "raise" since they've been getting Greg involved in more field training. And they've tried to play the "love" angle between Grisson and Sara for awhile, and it just hasn't worked. I noticed that Catherine's been getting more screen time, and Warrick is shining as well.

I dunno--it should be interesting to see how they do it. I've noticed that "Nick" has been missing from several episodes for one reason or another, and Sara has been acting quite "bitchy" in some episodes. She's still the "sensitive" one, and perhaps they will have her "moved to a desk job" or something. I know that Nick has been hankering for a supervisor's job ala Grissom, so his disappearance could be explained that he's now supervising at another location.

I honestly wouldn't mind if Greg got a "promotion" to a field officer, because he's so full of quirks. And there is definitely room for growth with a newbie who has that sense of eagerness that the other's no longer have. The repeat of CSI Miami last week had that girl who said she "grew up on Quincy" which is the kind of thing that might be good to base a character from in the original series.

Regardless, as someone already mentioned, it's the science, the mystery, the overblown storylines and the dry wit that makes CSI the best show around.
