I just went and walked a mile...STARTING SLOW....
Just thought I'd share something...AGAIN...I've finally got motivated to go walk on the tread mill today. I even did like something equivilant to a half mile on the eliptical machine. And at noon, I'm going to go swimming at the pool and do some laps. Wish me luck, and please, all the PMs you can muster for the next month while this becomes a habit woudl be GREAT! Thanks!

2. Consider getting a Sportbrain if you are a walker
I wear a sportbrain - basically a 21st century pedometer that records your every step that you then upload to their website where you can track your progresses, etc. I try to do a minimum of 12K steps a day.

3. Do it, do it, do it
Gentle exercise is the best thing you can do for yourself. It not only helps you lose weight, but it improves your health and outlook. Keep it up. Soon you'll find that you enjoy your exercise and look forward to it. Trust me.

4. I got out of the habit of exercising for a while last year...
but am right back in my routine now. Give it time, and before you know it you'll be craving those endorphins. The hardest is the first month or so... if you can get past that, you just have to make sure to keep yourself at it.
