Global water volume.
Found a couple of interesting pics. The little ball represents all of the water and air on the planet.

AIR

WATER

Kind of scary, isn't it?

2. it wont be used up in 100 lifetimes
air is renewabnle aslong as we have plants, and water is pretty much eternal, it can be filtered out of anything and recycled

3. Not really.
Consider a standard classroom globe. Were it a scale model of the earth, the thickness of the earth's crust would be thinner than the coat of paint on the globe.

So basically, we're on an enormous water balloon, filled with lava, hurtling through space.
