What's a good runner's mp3 player?
Note: By "running," I mean "rhythmically staggering forward for up to two hours at a time with absolutely no illusion of speed or grace."

And I will probably drop the thing about once a month or so when I trip over a crack in the pavement, so it has to be sturdy.

1. Doesn't really matter...
If it is completely digital, then there are no moving parts inside to break.

it plays CD's and recorded MP3. I don't have one yet, been waiting for someone to put them on sale.

3. The iRiver player.
It's got big buttons that you can operate while it's still in your pocket. I guess all of the players features are similar.
