32. No movie's ever made me laugh more than "Withnail"...

A work of true wonder. Admittedly, a bit of a light-weight plot, but so what? Everying else about it is near-perfect. Speaking of Bruce Robinson, I wonder if you caught one of his fairly rare acting gigs in a movied called "Still Crazy" from 1998. Far from great, but a nicely done comedy/drama about aging British rock semi-gods who reunite afer 20 years to have another go at touring. Bruce plays the mysterious, reclusive leader of the band (bit of a Jimmy Page vibe there), and the cast features such great UK actors as Stephen Rea, Billy Connolly , Timothy Spall and Bill Nighy. A rock fan could rent far worse at the video store on a rainy night.
