I finally found a bank that treats me like it wants and values my business, and what do they do? SELL OUT!

that isn't Wells Fargo, the robbing bank?

5. I don't know if they're eaten by Wells Fargo, but try Washington Mutual.

They were very good to me. Not sure they do banking outside CA, elsewhere on the West Coast. Too bad they don't out here in the mid-Atlantic.

3. That's normal - in this world of greedy corporations,

the big ones gobble up the little ones all the time. I have had several banks change hands in the last few years. The bigger ones are always more impersonal and nasty than what they replace. Someday, only one or two corporations will own everything and we will all be just serfs on the worlds plantations.

4. Try a credit union

I've never used a credit union before but a lot of my coworkers use the one on campus. All they do is rave about the service. I've thought personally about trying it several times.
