I just found the most gorgeous spider!

It's a little under 1/2" long, smooth-bodied with rather hairy pedipalps. Orange with black stripes on his/her wasp-shaped lower abdomen; and along his/her back, a striking green opalescent stripe lined in black with 8 tiny white spots. His/her cephalothorax has another opalescent spot on it.

Anybody good at identification? Location is MD near Washington DC.

I'm going to enjoy his/her company a minute before I toss him/her into the garden...

Does that mean their taste is more sensitive than in the females? (No, this isn't an invitation for misogynistic comments) ;-)
