I wasn't really paying attention or listening to it, just occasionally glancing at the TV. And there was a reasonably attractive lady being interviewed who looked to be in her thirties or so. So I figured, "Great, they're actually giving some publicity to someone who isn't a teeny-bopper."

MTV itself sums up so many things I dislike, I can't stand even 5 seconds of it.

Real World? I agree with above poster. What the hell is Real about a bunch of beautiful, carefree no-original-thought-since-birth chuckleheads screwing each other behind each others back.

Where are the butt ugly people.? Where is the alcoholoc getting fistfights?... who is going to O.D. in the bathroom this season?? Which one of them is pregnant? which ones are broke?

And they get all emotional on that show as if they know what a real problem is like.

And compounded with the fact they dont play videos, when they actually do, they actually have little skreetching 14 year old girls aand some little jit thuuuuugs giving shoutouts in the middle of the song over the music, and cutting songs off halfway through. (not that I care anyway because all the music sucks)

I liked seeing Eminem and Special Ed, and I'm glad Em and 50 won some awards, so the music awards shows don't bother me as much.

That is the one hour each year I'll watch MTV.
