I'm bored already. I hope future episodes are more exciting than this premiere. I've already turned it off, even though I'm taping it. I can flit through it later when I decide it's not as boring. ;)

I agree it's slow. Lots of background to set up; I hope subsequent episodes are better.

For now, I'm watching "Ocean's 11-2: The Robbing of the Laws of Physics".

4. it seems decent to me

in two hours you have to introduce major characters, establish relationships, set up the main adversary, and tease the ultimate reward for the protagonist.

That's an awful lot to cram into two hours, so action is going to suffer, especially in the first hour.

It seems like a nice little mythology is being set up...not quite as interesting as the G'oauld but still pretty interesting.

These Wraith dudes beat the Ancients, but an M249 SAW (Squad Automotic Weapon) can damage their ships?

Hmm, it's not too bad, does have some nice CGI & Effects
