4. I'm married so I hadn't really thought about that , probably no |
|
If my husband were to die or suddenly leave me though, I would say a qualified "no". I don't consider pot to be something that defines me or something that I need to do often. On the otherhand, I have friends who smoke, who I would not give up for an SO. I also do enjoy smoking pot. If he tried to prohibit me from smoking pot with my friends, I'd consider that an unacceptable restriction on my life.

I like to smoke cigarettes sometimes too and if he has a problem with it, don't let the door hit ya on the way out. :-)

10. WELL, I GUESS I WAS BORN IN A TOTALLY DIFFERENT ERA. |
|
If I really wanted to date this girl and she had a problem with my smoking week, I would not smoke weed when she was around. And if I wanted to marry this girl, I would give it up for good. But that takes willpower. I went cold turkey regarding cigarettes ten years ago and have not had even one ever since. :headbang:

15. I just consider it a control issue |
|
There are few things that my husband and I don't allow or severely discourage the other one from doing. It is best, in my opinion, that people in relationships don't try to control each others lives. When I chose to continue dating a person or take the relationship to a higher level, I was chosing to accept the person as they are. I consider demands or ultimatums unacceptable for the most part unless something really destructive is going on. I don't consider me smoking pot occassionally, especially away from the person, to be destructive. I would not be giving up any friends, becoming vegetarian, significantly changing my appearance, or giving up any activity that I engage in for a date.

16. Fuck NO. If you don't like me or my habits, then go away... |
|
and be happy somewhere else in your OWN way.I know someone who got divorced over this issue and is very happy to this day.
As for the 3rd choice, give me 5 minutes and I will report back.

17. I Probably Wouldn't Even LIKE |
|
someone who had a problem with me smoking weed, even though I haven't smoked weed for decades, I like to keep the options open. Anybody who's scared of a little weed probably doesn't share my way of looking at the world.
