I liked the two-hour premiere. I was sorry that it was over and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's episode. Intreguing idea, well done. Stargate Atlantis, however, is another story. I taped the two-hour first show, and couldn't watch more than 15 minutes: infantile writing, acting. Perhaps I just don't get it, never having watched the parent show, but I hated it, just cancelled the tate program. 4400 seemed like a show for adults, Stargate like a show for adolescents.

4. Stargate Atlantis was quite disapointing to say the least.... |

That one dude is clearly a take off of Scottie from Trek
The Canadian guy is nothing but a screaming ninny
The Wheir puhleez, honestly, I think Ann Coulter could do a better job in that role.
They need to get rid of Wheir, that one chic they found on the other planet, and the canadian guy. They gotta find a way to get General Hammond on Atlantis.
Then maybe I'll be able to stomach it.

It has a Stephen King feel about the writing. As usual for tv, it's sort of overdone, but not too bad. I plan to watch all five episodes.
