My cat loves my laptop
Every single time I walk away from the laptop, Tigger jumps on it and lies on the keyboard. When I shoo him off, he lies down right next to it.

Do you think he's trying to send a message to the DU community?

1. Is it warm?
Maybe he likes the warmth.

My cat attacks the printer. I have to lock her up when I print.

3. Yeah, it's pretty warm.
But I don't like logical explanations, so that can't be it.

2. Maybe your cat is a stealth Freeper?
I wonder that about my cat sometimes. Seems he's always trying to get me to stop typing and pay attention to him. I swear it's a plot, I tell yah!

9. What is it with cats and computers?
My big & tall cat loved my compaq laptop so much he decided to pull the "s" on my keyboard. When I went to get it repaired, I asked for them to replace the "s" and they said they can't replace a letter, they'd have to replace the entire keyboard. Grrrr!

11. a cat on your laptop keyboard can damage the keys....
The keys on a laptop are not made the same as on a regular keyboard, which can be pulled off and put back on. Laptop keys (at least the ones on my Toshiba laptop) come apart and break. Those little cat nails can pull the keys right off which breaks the keys.

I keep a hardcover book that is slightly larger than the keyboard, on top of the keyboard so the keys aren't exposed. The cats still get on top of the book but they can't damage the keys.
