Does God have a learning problem?
I'm seeing this quote all over DU:

"I trust God speaks through me. G.W. Bush - July 16, 2004

It's a quote which implies, to me at least, that God might be battling a language processing issue and perhaps a learning difficulty.

Come to think of it, that would explain the duckbill platypus.

1. God speaks through me sometimes
She says to eat, drink, and be merry. She also says that Bush is an idiot who keeps twisting her words around to mean the opposite of what She's saying. She says that Bush damaged his brain by using excessive amounts of drugs and that he cannot grasp the true Word.

2. I think Bush has the problem...not God.
He suffers from delusions. How awful to do such terrible things in Gods name --- even more horrible is people buy into it.

3. Bush hears voices telling him to do awful things...
and says it's God...

Nope, I don't think so. Bush is listening to his own ID, thinking that it's God. And anyone who thinks Bush hears God, I have a wonderful deal for you. No checks, please. Cash only, and in small bills.

4. Don't knock god for Bush's stupidity
There are all sorts of people who think they hear god's voice telling them what to do. Bush is just on of the crazies.

5. As with all who say that, he needs to be locked up in a padded cell.

People who blindly believe the crackpot* are doing nothing more than drinking the k00l-aid (Man, do I love that phrase!).

* is showing himself more and more to be the anti-christ of lore. His words claim him to be a messiah. His actions claim him to be a servant of satan.

If I told people God spoke to me or through me, they'd lock me up in under an attosecond. Yet that lunatic* is not just running around freely, he* is in command of the most powerful nation on this planet.

If it really is the most powerful, we rely an awful lot on foreign countries for both our energy and business needs...
