How do you create a free web page with a petition area?
I want to create a web page for myself and have people sign a petition on the page in order to get me back into my college and I don't know how to do that.

How would I be able to do that?

I know that this is a far fetched idea but I was suppose to graduate in October 2004 and they kicked me out on Friday because I missed one class due to being sick from my MS meds.

My homework and tests are all kept up with at a 4.0 level but I was forced into signing a form stating that i would never be absent from a class again even if i am a 4.0 GPA average student. I had to sign th form in order to continue my classes or they wouldn't let me into my classes.

I need help bad and I don't know what to do. I had 3 classes to go before I would receive my degree and my grades were perfect.

1. You need more than a petition, and I wish you hadn't signed
any papers like what they foisted on you. You need to be talking to a lawyer. If you can't afford one talk to the ACLU and see if they can help you out.

*hugs*

3. It wasn't a form it was a letter
It stated that I would go to class and keep my grades up and I gave them my letter from my Doctor that I was under his care and not healthy.

They said if I didn't sign their typed up letter then I would be allowed to attend my classes.

I know I shouldn't have but I didn't know what to do and I was on heavy medication when I signed it. I had just gotten out of a test at the hospital and was still out of it.

I told them I didn't feel like I was all toghether there that day and I needed to think about it but they said that if I wanted to attend class I would have to sign the letter. It didn't have a signature part they just had me sign anywhere on the paper.

4. It's not clear that agreements signed under duress are enforceable

and your mental state at the time might be an issue.

And such an agreement wouldnt override provisions of the law, espeiclally the Disabilities act. You cannot sigfn away your rights by a mere civil 'contract'

You need to address legal assistance if the administration won't back down.

5. There are several Legal Aid groups in Wisconsin, fortunately
I looked up one but there are others:

An online petition is not really going to be effective. A lawyer's letterhead with proof fo your medical condition, treatment for such and proof that the letter (contract) you signed was under duress would be far more effective in allowing you to graduate...a subpoena forcing them to demonstrate equal treatment of all students (including athletes) in this matter would probably be enough to get them to back off so that you could graduate.
