5. I agree.

I love "Live at Leeds," but to get the full experience, you need the double-CD set (with disc 2 being "Tommy" in its entirety). I restricted myself, in my estimation, to original releases.

After narrowing it down to "Who's Next," "Sell Out," and "Quadrophenia," I chose.

You Better You Bet ( not sure if that is the exact title) is stuck in my head. And my son liked Boris the Spider. However, I love Rough Mix, I love Uncle Pete wholess in an oddly spiritual mood.

12. "Who's Next" had 3 of their greatest singles.

"Baba O'Riley" "Behind Blue Eyes" and "Won't Get Fooled Again".

I can forgive "Getting In Tune" and "This Song is Over" because of the aforementioned triad.

Daltrey sang them in a flat, tone deaf voice,
Entwistle played as if he were being paid by the note
and Moon thrashed about in a frenetic, overly busy and cluttering fashion...

Arguably, along with "Revolver", the first-ever power-pop album.

Add on edit: an old college roommate of mine played "Blue, Red, and Gray" from "The Who By Numbers" over and over and over again, because it reminded him of John Denver. :puke:

It was, strangely enough, a Concept Album--it was supposed to be like tuning in to a London pirate radio station.
