The doggie days of summer.
My lab, Mingus and my Golden, Phoebe (shaved for the summer) romping by my farm pond after a swim. Yes, that is his wrap itself around your face tongue. I thought you all might like to see how beautiful parts of Kansas are. Also a cute doggie picture to lighten the day. :hi:

1. Remarkable what some rain will do for beautifying the countryside.
Looks like you live in paradise.

6. We shave Phoebe
because they love to go on walks in the woods, at the farm and they especially love to swim. Phoebe would come home covered in burs and stick tights and all kinds of other difficult to remove things so we shave her in the summer. She seems to love it. I have heard that their fur is an insulator so it is not good to do it for temperature control but she does seem to like it.

8. What are things looking ugly this evening?
Am I missing something?

I love your pound doggy with issues. He looks almmost like my Sammy did except Sam had a little white star on his chest. Sammy was a pound dog too but he had no issues. He was a big galumph who was always happy and clumsy, yet he was one of the smartest dogs I've ever had.

Thanks for triggering the happy memory of Sam.

11. The news
about Iran and how it is being done for one thing, it has depressed me and then we have the in fighting that usually does not bother me but today it has. Those things made me feel like it was ugly today, damn, there are really about a million things but those were two.

We have had those big galumphs from the pound before and they are wonderful. Scully's issues are that she is tiny compared to the other two but she is the queen without question. You do NOT want to question the queen. I love her more than I can say, she has a lot of courage and she is my most special one.
