Shit. That was my second favorite show on Adult Swim!

At first I thought it was a joke when AS had this filler bit saying that the show was canceled, but it looks like the show is really ending. It ends up that it was the lowest rated AS show. I just don't get it. *$^@$##$#%#!!!

ATHF, Cowboy Bebop, Family Guy, and Trigun were all much better.

6. I don't really count anime or network produced shows

when considering them as my favorite shows, so that eliminates three of your faves from my normal listings. I like ATHF, but no where near the level that I like Birdman or Sealab.

(I'm not saying that you're wrong, just that I rank the shows in my mind more based on whether it's original programing for AS.)

Personally, I think the TPTB didn't like the show because of the way that Birdman treated old cartoon icons. Sealab can get away with much more since no one cares about the SL characters, but I can see where TPTB would get upset with Boo-Boo being a unibomber type terrorist.

2. Cartoon Network is gradually beginning to suck.

Adult Swim hasn't been the same since they lost "The Brak Show".

I think new episodes are starting soon if they haven't already. I was a big fan of Birdman too, I'm sorry to see it go. Unlike the 1/2 hour shows, it's hard to imagine that this will get picked up anywhere else since it's only 15 minutes.

7. I'm finding the new Sealabs to be missing something...

and I know exactly what it is--Captain Murphy.

It's nice that Goz's son took over as Tornado Shanks, but I don't find the character to be funny at all, which, I will add, isn't his fault. The character's lines just aren't funny to me.

"Droopy Botox" (Gawd, how funny was THAT?) was the last episode for the current season. AS has a rotating season, so at least One show is doing new episodes, as Sealab is now. Next up is ATHF.
