Forgive me if I'm way out there on this one. But Drudge has proven himself time and time again to be an unreliable source of real news. Whats this obsession with the drivel he posts? You do realize it benefits him every time he gets a 'hit' from one of us on his site?

I think its pretty well understood that he's a lying, closet-mo, attention starved, hypocritical propagandist. Nothing he says is interesting or relevant.

Don't justify his existence by making his sad little links-page sound important. And stop polluting DU with his name!

Tempting people to link to Drudge's site (by including a link or just by mentioning him) is little better than shilling for that scumbag.

I don't expect that your post will have any noticeable impact (asking members to show a little discipline never seems to do so) --- perhaps it is time to lobby for a change in the board rules to forbid linking (at least) to any RW site.
