Kewaskum Man Accused Of Having His Kids Steal
Bikes, School Clothes Stolen Wal-Mart, ShopKo

WEST BEND, Wis. -- A 39-year-old Kewaskum man has been arrested for allegedly having his children help steal $1,400 worth of merchandise.
West Bend Sgt. Gus Unertl said the man and three of the children took three bikes from an area Wal-Mart on Friday.

The suspect and the four children returned later to Shopko to steal more merchandise. But that time, an alarm was triggered by his two carts, and store security responded.
But the man escaped and abandoned the children at the store. He returned to Kewaskum where officers arrested him.

Kids make horrible accomplices. They don't have the intelligence to resist interrogation for one thing, and they also can't follow instructions.
