Any Disc Golf Fanatics?

I sunk a 200-footer yesterday. Threw a 174g Discraft Cyclone into a headwind and watched it fall off perfectly to the left and nail the chains for a deuce on a 409-foot hole. CHING! It was a little moment of nirvana. Bhudda plays disc golf.

'Cuz that's the way I rememebr the game all those years ago. You seem to be WAY more into it than we were, though. Frisbees aren't much good unless you can turn them into bongs...

4. Ever notice that separating seeds and stems in a frisbee...

...is a lot like miners panned for gold in the nineteenth century? Every time I rolled a joint I wanted to go all "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" on the other people in the room.

3. LOL - No, you don't have to smoke pot.

A lot of church people use my home course.

I am indeed totally addicted to disc golf. I've played almost every day (and sometimes twice a day) for three months. I can't get enough of it. I actually go out into a field and throw discs as far as I can for an hour at a time, practicing. Also have a target to practice my putt. I think my SO must hate disc golf for the way it has eaten my brain. She'll be feeling romantic, and I'll be going on about my X-step or how I need to work on my snap.

6. A couple of my local parks have frisbee golf set-ups

I've never seen them anywhere else. Are they common? Lots of stoners running around throwing frisbees (with one beating a drum to keep time -- odd). Little metal baskets designed to catch the frisbee when you hit it. I used to play around with friends in high school, but not since I sobered up ;).

I go out with my daughter every now and then to play frisbee; I think I know what our next "family outing" will be. Thanks for the inadvertant suggestion. She'll have a great time.
