The Evans' made GREAT parents. Thelma was okay and Michael ruled. JJ was an irritant though, but the parental values were great. But all the elements make for an interesting, if not occasionally surreal, show. Even JJ. :-) (he was self-contained in season 1...)

17. My mother was a mix of Al Bundy and Roseanne

with a higher IQ and work ethic than both combined, but those two were the closest to her actual parenting style.
