LENO?
I wouldn't turn on Leno even if Jerry was still alive. They should be on Dave or Conan. That's their real audience.

Being imminently successful, though not willing to let down his fans -- many of them, like me, had devoted their lives to following him -- he decided to fake his own death and live out the remainder of his years in peace.
This isn't some Bruce Lee/Elvis fantasy. He died at 4:20am on April the 20th? Of a heroin overdose two weeks after he was admitted (if one doesn't die in the first 48 hours, then one os likely to live)? I say: BULLSHIT. Jerry Lives! And is living it up in Puerta Vallarta.

14. For those who may not know |
|
The Dead is the new name of the band consisting mostly of the old members of the Grateful Dead, That being Phil Lesh, Mikki Hart, Bob Weir, Bill Cruitzman etc, all fantastic musicians.
Is it the same? Of course not, Phil sings more! If you've never stood in the nose bleed seats of a stadium, as 40,000 people make that stadium rock ... and I do mean the stadium ROCK, sway, bounce and rise of it's foundations then you simply cannot understand.
You're either on the bus or your not. You either get it ... or you don't.
Know our love will not fade away ...
Can you hear it, in your head? Can you feel the floor sway beneath your feet? Then you get it.

I was kidding - sarcasm is easy to miss here.
:)
I know what it feels like to hear 95,000 people cheer when Jerry says "if the thunder don't get you then the lightnin' will!" Giant Stadium!
I haven't seen "the Dead" - how are they?
Snotty postscript - its Bill Kreutzman :)

16. They are awesome still! |
|
they aren't the Grateful Dead anymore, but it is clear that The Dead are fantastic musicians. And, when seeing them live, the spirit of the parking lots lives on too...
