Ernest Hemingway Cause Of Bar Fight
<snip>

KEY WEST, Fla. -- Ernest Hemingway is in a bar fight.

Two bars in Key West are battling it out for rights to use the name Sloppy Joe's -- the hard-drinking writer's old watering hole.

Sloppy Joe's Bar and Captain Tony's Saloon, which calls itself "the first and original Sloppy Joe's," are a half-block from each other, and both claim Hemingway drank there. One historian said he probably frequented both.

7. Amen
I always preferred Captain Tony's. Like Homer Simpson said "But Moe, the dank."

2. My uncle claims
Hemingway passed out on the back porch of his cabin in Michigan. I wonder if he can get in on this?

6. No. It's like "George Washington Slept Here"
"Ernest Hemingway staggered here"

3. Why did Ernest Hemingway cross the road?
To die.
In the rain.

4. You fight the bull. Sometimes you win. Sometimes the bull wins.
And it is good. And there is wine. And people laugh. And people dance.

5. I played guitar in Capt. Tony's when I was..............
down there a few years ago. They were nice enough to have me get up and play so my allegiance goes with Capt. Tony's. Sloppy Joe's is way too commercial.
