Laugh-a-Minute Rumsfeld Becomes a Clown! Must read!
Edited on Tue Jul-20-04 12:58 PM by Hell Hath No Fury
If you haven't already, please check out the July 19th edition of the Weekly World News for the article on Rummy's decision to fulfill a lifetime dream by entering clown college. :) Here are some of my favorite bits:

"As a young boy, according to childhood buddy Kevin Koshar, 'Rummy would put on these elaborate puppet shows featuring himself as a singing, tap-dancing general leading a war against a defenseless Third World nation.

snip

"For President Bush's last birthday, Donald Rumsfeld surprised him by appearing in drag as Maria from 'The Sounds of Music' and serenading the president with 'I am Sixteen Going on Seventeen."

snip

"And he put himself through college performing mime routines in the park. 'His specialties were The General Trapped in a Box, The General playing Tug-of-War, The General Walking Against the Wind. People would pay him to go way."

snip

"A White House source says President Bush is aware of Rumsfeld’s plan and is none to pleased. 'He feels it will reflect poorly on his administration,' says the source. 'What's next, Dick Cheney becoming a mime? Condoleeza Rice becoming a stripper?' But Rumsfeld is undaunted. 'I can't wait!' Rumsfeld was overheard telling a friend. 'Oh, sure, directing deadly precision bombing missions during the Afghan war was fun. But getting goofy as Rum-Rum the clown really speaks to my soul!"

Now, if we can only find out who Bat Boy is going to endorse for President!

:)

4. It's kind of like Hitler and his art...
Those folks who ask how it would have changed the world of someone had just given Hitler a damned art show like he really wanted...

What if Rummy had gone to Clown School like he wanted? ;) Or Dubya had been made Baseball Commissioner? Hmmmmm...

5. What do you expect from the...
"Saddam is an evil-doer who has WMDs and plans on nuking the heartland because he hates us for our freedoms" squad? Accuracy? ;)
