http://www.planetware.com/sub/MA.HTMSome suggestions to add to your itinerary:
Boston Gardens - the downtown park.
- it is the Olmsted designed anchor in a chain of Boston parks. Just next door to the Commons which used to be a grazing ground way back when.
The North End. Go for cappacolla and fresh fruit. Coffee!
Esplanade/Back Bay. Just great for a walk.
The Old Granary Burying Ground (it's downtown). You'll be amazed how many of our forefathers rest there..among many others. And the quotes on the stones are touching.
The T's Park St. station @ Washington. Historic spot for "soap box" speakers. Then take the T to Harvard Square, 'cross the river.
Fenway.....
have fun. It's my hometown and I still miss it at times.
