I posted a message, and clicked "post message" and window after window of Internet Explorer kept popping up one after another. Couldn't stop it, so finally turned off 'puter. When I rebooted everything was back to normal. Anyone else have this problem? Never happened before. :shrug:

Not sure what the IE problem was, haven't had that happen in awhile. When it did, I wasn't on DU and turned out I had an ugly virus. Not one of my most positive computer experiences!
Glad the reboot worked and glad you're a part of DU.

I had a popup blocker that used to work great until a couple of weeks ago. Apparently Microsoft figured out a way to get by the blockers and I will have 5 popups in a row, all from Microsoft. Personally, I don't appreciate it one bit.

Been getting this GDI.exe error. I called it my GDI (god damn independent).exe (what those of us who weren't in sororites called ourselves in college) error. Anyone have this happen? Not sure what that's all about or if it's unrelated. I'm thinking it's something unrelated.

gdi.exe. I do that when I don't know what an error is; if nothing else you might get microshaft's database.
