F 911: Should I kick myself?
OK, those who don't know, I live in India. The chances of F911 seeing a nationwide theatre release here are as slim as dubya admitting he is a stupid jerk who got born in the right family.
So, on Friday I got a call from a friend who excitedly told me that some blokes had procured a pirated CD of the film and would I like to join them... I said "No man. F911 is one movie that i will watch legally."
Well as it turned out, my friend had her eyes wide opened by the film, and can't stop talking about it. most of the stuff i already know, because of the countless personal reviews i came across at DU and other places. But the high she experienced- including the tears at lila lipscomb's story- is something I did not. And i feel a lil jealous!
Maybe I should have gone...

5. Cool idea! I was just going to say that I've seen
Michael on tv say it was quite all right to download it..he wants as many to see it as possible..

So no worries..he knows not everyone can see it the normal way especially with so many reich wing theaters saying no.

2. MM has actually suggested downloading it
I think he cares more about getting the message to as many people as possible instead of making money off of it. Good man.

3. You should have gone...
Michael Moore has more or less said he will not prosecute hijackers. He made this documentary for people to see, and the more that see it, the better. I certainly don't think he would mind you seeing it in India!

4. Please see this film ASAP
The best film I've seen this year. It's so important.
Hearing someone talk about it and seeing it are very different!
I'd also love to hear your input.

is happy with the 900% profit he has made so far. I agree, Watch it and then send him a letter saying you watched it pirated and donate the $8 to Moveon.org!

11. Ask your friend to invite you to the next showing.
Then get a copy of the CD for yourself and set up your own viewings. If you can gather up the resources to do an outside show for a larger crowd, do that. When the DVD comes out, repeat with the better quality source.

Moore made the film so it would be seen, not for the royalties.
