|
Edited on Wed Jul-21-04 01:15 AM by HEyHEY
Again, inspired by another thred. My great grandmother was an amazing person, full of life and adventure....which is why she lived until 96. Her daughter (my grandmother) was great oo. I used to go out of my way to see her whenever I was in her area. My Grandpa, amazing as well. My father said he moved 23 times growing up because of Grandpa's failed businesses. But the one story that sticks out in my mind is when my he co-signed for another guy, it went sourand my grandpa's family suffered. Once my Dad asked him why he went bankruptcy andall for this other guy. "He's got a family to feed, I'd of done the same thing." Said gramps. After the five years of bankruptcy were over, my gamps paid off all his creditors, a true man of principle. I love my Dad, but I try to live up to my grandpa's legacy. You? EDIT; My lastin impression of my grandpa was when I was seven or so, he had alziemers. I shook his hand, and he said "That's a good handshale."

People will only stop ignoring it after it dies to see if there was any value to it. :D
