The Church of the Open Door believes that the Earth is 6,000 years old.

I talked to the pastor of the local church (don't ask me why) and asked how he resolved that belief with the science of carbon dating. He said "Well, that's if you BELIEVE in that stuff.". I started to explain to him how carbon dating was based on the known decay rate of a radioactive isotope, but gave up.
