House shopping and political activism ethics - a question;
Edited on Wed Jul-21-04 07:36 AM by DarkPhenyx
So I'm going to go look at a house today, and I have a feeling this is the one and I'll be putting in a bid on it. however there are still people living there and I have a feeling that they are going to be big Bush supporters.

My question for the peanut gallery is "Should I remove the anti-bush signs from the back window of my truck so as to not bias them home owner against me when I go to make an offer on the house?" I know what my answer is, but I was wondering what the group thought. If I remove them am I failing to be true to myself and betraying the cause? Is it just a smart move to do so? If I leave them up am I being insanely stupid by risking a shot at a pretty decent house?

Inquiring minds want to know. :)

1. I would just park on the street.
I'll bet the sellers' desire to get out of the house will override political concerns. I'd sell my house to a Republican in a second. I'd even be fair about it.

2. I would leave them there just to let them know
that we won't be pushed around anymore! Be a Democrat and be proud! :-)

4. Always be true to yourself, Phe.
You have to be able to live with yourself after all.

Speaking of which, I did that big thing I needed to do last night. I'll pm you about it. :)

5. I wouldn't remove them.
This is a financial transaction, why would they be concerned about your politics. What makes you believe they support "*"? Its all about the offer you make.

6. Republicans have no morals or principals except that which is green.
They'll sell it to you regardless.
