I have already had a very weird morning.
While I was getting ready to go to work I realized I could not find my wallet. I knew I had it last night & I searched my whole house, the front seat of the car & the front porch. I was in a panic. Fugued I would be calling the bank, credit cards, etc. today.
Went to leave for work & tossed some stuff into the back seat & there is my wallet. I was not in the back seat yesterday at all.
On my way to work my local classic rock radio station is giving away tickets to the Van Halen on July 31st. I called & I won!!!!
Then I get to work & one my coworkers grabs me & has to tell me about seeing F 9-11 last night.
That story here.

4. You are so right.
I have been almost hit too many time to count by people talking on the phone & not paying attention to their driving.
The worst is when they are totally oblivious to the fact that they almost killed someone because their call is soooooo important.

5. I've driven in a lot of places, including a lot of cities across
the US, and the drivers in this state are the worst I have ever seen, bar none. It's astonishing. It's almost like people have a death wish.

And, you're right - the complete ignorance of their surroundings is extraordinary. They're so buried in their own little worlds that they drive like there are no other cars on the roads.

Yeah, and then they get on the phone! They can't drive *without* a cell phone, much less with one!!

3. Actually no, my husband was driving.
We are very big on not calling while driving.
