Erskine's on a cross-state bus tour. I went to a meet and greet at a restaurant in Chapel Hill this morning. Not quite standing room, but very full for a weekday morning. :D I mention this because this is the most animated I've ever seen him. LOL!

Biggest applause-getters:

* protecting civil liberties
* getting rid of the medicare bill and getting something that really gives seniors choices about medicines (lots of seniors this morning. Understanable given the time of day.)
* Protecting the seat of John Edwards, Terry Sanford, and Sam Ervin.

Biggest boos:

* the new medicare bill
* his opponent, the "more conservative than thou" Richard Burr
* The Patriot Act
