Genealogical disaster-I'm related to Cheney through the Witch Susan Martin

Gary Boyd Roberts at the New England Historic Genealogical Society has found that the candidates are related through no fewer than eight kinships, making them from ninth to 13th cousins twice removed.

But the disaster is the idea that Cheney's got ties to Salem's Susannah Martin, who was executed for being a witch.

We were proud of Susan - but now, How will our family ever show its face in public again!
