I wanna buy my 2 year old a kick-ass tricycle - any tips? |
|
I don't really know where to start. Kettler seems to be a good brand. Anything made in the USA? Anywhere on the web that's got good customer service (e.g. will ship quickly).
Anything in particular to look for?
Any tips would be appreciated!

1. How about avoiding the phrase "kick ass" when you give it to him? |

5. I remember being partial to the "Big Wheel." |
|
I had a Hot Wheels one. My younger brother trumped me when he got the Knight Rider one.

I remember it had like 4 buttons that each said a different phrase, and another button that made that light bar on the front light up. My big wheel had no gadgetry. I will convince myself that it's elegance was in the simplicity!

8. How cute! Buy one that fits |
|
Trikes come in various sizes and expensive ones are a waste because your tot will outgrow it by next year. Go for a light weight one so it won't hurt if it tips over onto him/her and lots of padding on the handle bars!
Hope you have a camera, gotta get some "first bike" pics :-)

9. Spend the money on the Kettler... |

you won't regret it. It's tough enough anything a toddler can dish out. And the pushbar makes a great trike even better. And if you have anymore kids it will be around for them.
I have three kids (girls 7, 3, and 18 months) and they all used it. In fact the 3 year old and the little one are still fighting over it...
