Martha Stewart, inmate number ............ |
|
I hear that Martha Stewart has an adviser to teach her how to survive in prison. I would love to be a fly on the wall when she gets training in how to use a shiv or make a shank! And how to keep your coffee cup shiny when banging it on your well bars.
And I understan d she plans to organize a volleyball league!
Oy Vey!:boring:

But hopefully it will be a humbling experience for her. The Marxist in me rejoices when I think of all the luxuries she's going to have to go without. :D

4. But anyone railroaded by the Bushista Injustice Department ... |
|
can't be all bad.
Maybe she'll come out mad and ready to take on the system.

That would kick ass. I'd love to her on our side.
I'm just always happy to see the mega-rich humbled.
Maybe unfair, but it's an insta-reaction. :)

6. You realize that, to many people in the world, you are rich. |
|
Don't know anything about you, but--do you have a place to live?
Do you eat regularly? Do you have electric power? What about clean water?
Should those who don't have any of the above hope you are brought low?
Martha has contributed much money to the Democratic party; in a way, she is on our side.

As in, those people who have far more than they need.
I have enough, but I live simply compared to many folks.
I said that it may be unfair to feel this way.
But there's just a little ol' Marxist devil on my shoulder that has this reaction, I can't help it...
...Bad devil. Bad, bad devil. Go away. The revolution was years ago. :D

2. I had a bizarre dream last night |
|
where Martha Stewart teams up with Lionel Luthor (from Smallville -- Jonathan Glover) in prison. They'd be unstoppable!

The only thing they could convict her of was lying to investigators. Something people do every day, but hardly anyone is convicted of it.
I doubt if she needs a shiv where she's going. Most federal prisons are full of non-violent drug offenders. She will have to hob-nob with the middle class though...

7. Martha Stewart is a small fish.... |
|
compared to those Enron Swine!
I have never really liked her since the things she was pushing seemed so silly to me, but I feel rather sad for her. There are so many big fish still lying and swimming around stealing from innocent folks.
I have no doubt that Martha will do well at survival on the inside. She wasn't always well off.
