What a shocker!!! AOL Subscribers think FoxNews is "Fair & Balanced"
Who would have thunk it? Then again who still uses AOL these days anyways and why would any online poll actually have any credence of credibility anywhere? I should check Hannity's website and see if he has a poll we can DU

AOL Subscribers Rally to Fox News Channel

Fox News Channel, under attack by several liberal and Democratic organizations, the Robert Greenwald documentary Outfoxed, and "Doonesbury" cartoonist Garry Trudeau, drew strong support in an informal (and admittedly unscientific) poll conducted by America Online on its welcome page Tuesday. Of some 25,000 users registering their opinions, 51 percent said that they regarded the cable news channel as "fair and balanced," as its slogan boasts; 37 percent ticked off "No, and I don't like its viewpoint;" 9 percent replied, "No, but I like its viewpoint;" and 2 percent checked "I have no idea." Meanwhile, a spokesman for News Corp Chairman Rupert Murdoch, whose holdings include the news channel, told Editor and Publisher that the media magnate was "amused" by Trudeau's jibes at him in his "Doonesbury" strips this week.

1. They ought to watch "Outfoxed"
I ordered the DVD at www.outfoxed.org and just watched it last night.

I knew that Fox was a right wing shill machine orchestrated from the top down, but I had no idea just how insidious it was.

This documentary is SHOCKING.

The slogan "Fair and Balanced" is an inside joke at Fox. They all know that it isn't, not even close.

2. AOL users also think they are getting a good deal on internet service
Wonder if they send a lot of replies to 'THE SON OF FORMER GENERAL SANI ABACHA WHO HAS HIDDEN $65,000,000', too?

3. That's why I switched to DSL
I was paying like $25 a month for AOL, figured I might as well go $35 for DSL. Made total sense

4. 51 percent is hardly an overwhelming number
And this is an unscientific poll by AOL users.

7. Excuse me, but I voted in the poll
and I definitely did not agree that Fox is "Fair & Balanced." And as an AOL subscriber, I wish you all would stop bashing AOL users. I happen to like it, plus I don't want to change and go through the hassle of notifying a few thousand people of my new address.

.....it definitely runs faster than Juno did and w/o all the flash ads that they used also that made this relic run slower....and I only pay 14.95 a month.
