Poll question: Do you smoke cigarettes or cigars? |
|
I'll see if this goes through this time.
I am about the biggest non-smoker there can be. Can't even stand the smell, and I can't afford them anyway. But this isn't a debate topic. I just want to see how many DUers smoke them.

Throw in Padron, Fuente (not the overrated "opus X"), and Avo, Davidoff, and Paul Garmirian too, if I'm feeling celebratory (or my secret stash of Bolivar, Hoyo de Monterrey, and Partagas from past trips to London). For golf and fishing, give me a bundle of El Rey Del Mundo maduros and I'm happy as a clam.
But I don't smoke cigarettes, and never have, tho I do play at them from time to time (smoking them like cigars---not inhaling, just puffing out gigantic plumes of smoke).

Never smoked cigars (the only time I can even stand being in the same room as cigar smoke is if I have a nice glass of port in my hand.)
Smoked lightly in high school and early college -- maybe a quarter-pack a day at the most -- but haven't had a single puff in about a decade.

Menthol. And. . . :hippie::smoke:
I'll quit when I stop enjoying it. I used to say that I'd quit when they hit $5/pack. I was wrong; they cost more than that now and I happily pay.
I don't smoke in non-smokers houses or vehicles - I, however, retain the right to smoke in my vehicle, house and outdoors.
As for the various no smoking bylaws, they don't bother me. I come from a family of alcoholics and can't stand the smell of bars so not being able to smoke there isn't an issue. I figure that if I can't make it through a dinner at a restaurant without a smoke - I'm smoking too much. I work in a place where smoking while working is not possible, just due to the nature of the work. Going for a smoke break gives me the opportunity to go and stretch and see daylight for a change.
