What do the call Iriaqi insurgents in your newspaper? |
|
Happy to say they call them that in mine. I saw rebels in a few papers. I figure there HAS to be some asshole paper calling them terrorists.

Most American newspapers call them that, but a few still call them terrorists. Insurgents is kind of a middle of the road term. They don't want to call them resistance or rebels because they fear it would give them legitimacy, and the fact that they don't call them terrorists all the time is maybe one of the few semi-respectable things the American media has done during this war.

5. As I reside in NYC, there are three choices: |
|
NY Times: Insurgents
NY Daily News: Ragheads
NY Post: Raghead Heathen Motherf*ckers
Newspaper-wise this city should be better.
