Part 2: Does it ever freak you out a little watching an old film...... |
|
and finding a star in a film very attractive?.... Maybe an actor/actress you weren't very familiar with, but you thought they were hot. Later, you look them up online and see photos of them in their old age! eekkks!

I look at them in their old age and think how great it is that they lived so long.
What's up? Are you feeling your age today, or what?

I was 12 years old and saw her on a "Morning Movie" showing of "Carmen Jones". She was so stunning I was in a stupor. (I faked sick that day to stay home from school to watch the movie...and the next day for part two!) Girls were okay and all, but she sent me into the stratosphere attraction-wise. Puberty began in earnest upon seeing her. That saturday I went to my local iibrary to find out more about her and was utterly heartbroken to read that she had been dead for 11 years or so.
The day I saw her in that movie still haunts me. What a beautiful woman!

7. yup. I don't know what to do when I see: |

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Liz Taylor is beyond stunning. She is sex incarnate in that film.
And yet... it's hard not to think of her as she is today...

...Liz in "A Place In The Sun". I lusted after her in "Cat" and "Butterfield", but fell in love with her in "Place".
Magnificence. Utter magnificence.
Audrey in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" is fall-in-love-worthy as well. Her in that big shirt and scarf, strumming that guitar.
"Moooooooooon Riiveeeeeeerrrrrr, wider than a miiiiiiiile!"
