Time for another round of Name My Business!
In my spare time (hahaha!) I have occasionally done some sewing for people. Not regular garment sewing but costume/dance/figure skating things. Hand beading, rhinestones, you know, fun stuff.

I have decided to pursue this side business more and as such, need a name to stick on a business card to hand out.

I was thinking of something more elegant than cute and I would love some suggestions from this group.

This is a picture of a figure skating costume I just replicated for a local performer..

10. Think of the reasons why you've chosen to do this sort of work...
... apart from the fact that you're good at it. You might find a name in your reasons for liking the work.

Or, is there something distinctive about the finished product because of the way you produce it?

Think along those lines and you might come up with something memorable.

Cheers.

19. Good now go to office max and buy the 1000 cards for $17
Edited on Wed Jul-21-04 07:25 PM by 28erl
most people go overboard on business cards...
office max has some standard cards....about 4 or 5 patterns....pick the one where you get the most words if you want....of just pick on...
they are raised letters...in one color ...red, blue, black, or maroon.

you get to pick one logo.....

and if a couple of months you decide on something different you haven't invested a fortune...
when your cards are costing you less than 2 cents a piece....you will have no trouble giving them out to everyone...putting them in athletic stores....etc....

____________
ask them for the standard cards...they are at the back of the book...don't go overboard on fancy cards....you want to be willing to give them to anyone and everyone.....and the less expensive they are the less hesitation you will have giving them away....

23. name too long if you want to eventually have a website people will
remember....
printing your own cards is great but more expensive than .02 cents each. and the ink can run and the letters aren't raised
