I saw Catwoman. Don't make the same mistake.

Won tix to an advance screening last night. Horrible movie. Bad acting, bad story, bad cinematography, bad effects, just bad. It's a damn shame something like this has to be affiliated with the Batman franchise. Even Halle Berry in leather couldn't save this atrocious pile of feces.

It didn't look great from the previews, but it was free. Bah. I do like that it has a 0% fresh rating so far on Rotten Tomatoes. I doubt that goes up much at all. This may be in Gigli or Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever territory.

But Catwoman is obviously a Batman character. They do change the lead character's name from Selina Kyle to Patience Phillips though, and it doesn't take place in Gotham. So they did create some room between the Bat franchise and this heap of shite. Too bad Catwoman won't be allowed to appear in any Bat films from here on out b/c of this stinker.

I thought X-Men was a pretty good port from comics to film, and I'm absolutely not a slave to continuity. But changing the name and city like that just sounds LAME.
