Week seven of corn-blasting and painting at the NC log cabin.

The log painting was finished today. Now they do the decks. It is amazing. Looks like a new house. The crew doing it is the most professional, most competent contractor I've ever dealt with.

1. i saw for sale today in our local paper

a log cabin "shell" (i guess it was unfinished) designed for 2 BR 2 bath, with a loft ,and a nice deck, on 3 acres near asheville for $79,900

Its so frickin' hot here I stared at the picture.....thinking cool mountain breezes, then i went back to work.
