Me and Chavezspeaksthetruth have been friends since we were pretty young. We hadn't seen each other for quite some time but now get to talk to each other every day on DU....so for me, DU is not just a way to commisserate with folks who share my views, but a way to keep in touch with one of my dearest and bestest friends, who otherwise I'd be separated from.

Yes, it's corny, I know, but that actually means a lot to me.

And no, we've never been in a relationship together. I'm married, and Chavez has a fiancee.

Always be wary of people you meet THROUGH the internet; you never really know who you're dealing with, because the person on the other end is alwys showing the side of themselves that THEY want you to see. You know, you never see the corpses in the attic on the first date.
