I've got two.
One friend of mine in Quebec was from Mexico studying french, in the 80s her Dad was a flies hair away from being president of mexico. He bowed out for fear of assasination (He was very anti-corruption). I believe he is still in the government at some level.
Another, my roomate in Quebec was from the Ivory Coast...his dad is in some level of government there.
