16. My dear ol Smudge cat stayed between 3 and 5 lbs for all her 21 years.

When she was a kitten, I nuzzled her one day and said, "Smudgie, I wish you could just stay little". She was such a sweet and obliging cat that she did just that. Vet said no problems and she had perfect proportions, no body parts out of scale to indicate dwarfism. She just stayed small, was healthy as all get out and lived a long, happy life.

Still miss her.
