DeLay introduces bill to display Reagan's mummified corpse.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- House Majority Leader Rep. Tom Delay (R-TX) has introduced a bill to display former President Ronald Reagan's mummified corpse in a special new mausoleum on the National Mall, to be renamed Ronald Reagan National Mall. The mausoleum will be placed on a new, to-be-constructed island -- accessible by land bridge -- in the center of the Reflecting Pool, to be renamed the Ronald Reagan Memorial Reflecting Pool.

Capitol Hill sources report that an identical bill is to be introduced in the Senate with the bipartisan co-sponsorship of Sen. Trent Lott (R-MS) and Sen. Zell Miller (D-GA).

A spokesman for DeLay said that the bill provides for a private-public partnership to preserve Reagan's body in pristine condition indefinitely. The chemicals will be provided to the public by Rep. DeLay's own extermination company.

Maybe it's too late at night, but I find this pretty damn funny. :-)

2. The GOP..............
is just sick enough to probably give this consideration. If I didn't know it was a joke, I'd probably believe they'd do this.
