I'm feeling a little bit of what Rush did right now (hydrocodone).
I strained my neck and it hurt like fuck so I went to the hospital and they wrote me a script for hydrocodone + acetaminophen however you spell it. I'm not totally zonked into oblivioun, but I could see someone losing years of their life in this kindofa daze. Like it makes you lazy. Like I don't even feel like correcting the typos in this.

1. ah yes .......
I think that's yer basic Vicodin there, buddy.

I love that stuff. Makes me feel, well, great. I get it (sometimes) for my lower back. Sometimes it's pretty easy to think "yeah, my back hurts, I better take some of that stuff ..."

2. I lived on that stuff................
for years due to chronic back pain (a botched spinal fusion). I took 12, 1000mg Tabs a day and after a few years those things were killing me I finally found a pain management Doctor that wanted to try alternative methods to decrease the pain. I'm so glad I did. They're good for a while, but soon you only live for the drug, it takes over your life. I haven't taken any in about 6 months now and I don't miss them at all. They can kill you.

4. Well, I have to disagree on how good it makes me feel.
I take 10/500 four times a day (about 10 years now) for herniated disks in my back and neck and don't feel the least bit of a rush from it, never have. It only lessens the pain; does not obliterate it. I suppose it affects different people in different ways.
