I feel like I'm living in a fucking terrarium. It's so hot in here, I think I'm going to spend the weekend at my parents in their nicely air-conditioned home.:D

We did that when I was a kid and couldn't stand being upstairs. It's going to be even hotter tomorrow and Saturday.

Edited on Fri Jul-23-04 02:01 AM by PoliticsSportsMusic
I know I wouldn't complain about the weather if I lived there....you lucky dog. Did you grow up there or transplanted?

EDIT: I just read your other response....102 is hot but to live in Vancouver is still worth it!!!

21. we''ll take up a collection and buy you a fan
or you could just have people talk at you a lot and provide a breeze.

we had more ceiling fans installed last year. Saves on air cond. bills. Have your landlord put one in, if you have a cool landlord.

27. had no idea it was so hot out your way
makes it look cool here in Pittsburgh, which is typically like a swamp in summer. Actually it has not even reached 90 here yet.

18. It's hot in Oregon too
Reached 96 today. Not too bad. I'm used to summer in Boston, so 96 w/ no humidity isn't bad at all :)

19. It was hot with 150 percent humidity in Chicago for two days
With torrential downpours. Spent the days draped over the air conditioner.

Seems to have broken though. Lovely cool morning with a cloudless sky.
